Joe Browns – Men and Women’s Clothing

I just learned about a unique online store called Joe Browns, http://www.joebrowns.co.uk. Their clothes have a hippie type of laid back style. Joe Browns is a UK company but they do ship to the US as well as many other countries. Please remember to take into account the different sizes when ordering from a different country. Joe Browns also has clothes for men, gifts and accessories, and awesome section called Adventure. Under the Adventure section you can buy a lunch cruise in London, a full body massage, scuba diving lessons and so much more. I’ve never seen a clothing store that offers this feature but I love it!

Valentine Pizza Recipe

This yummy pepperoni, sausage, & mushroom pizza can easily be made at home for a fun date night in.

Ingredients:

1 loaf Bridgford Frozen Bread Dough, thawed

3 oz (8 slices) Pepperoni

½ cup fresh mushrooms, thinly sliced

½ cup red onion, thinly sliced

1 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp garlic powder

1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated

¼ cup Parmesan cheese

grated 4 small links sweet Italian sausage, cooked and thinly sliced

½ cup canned Italian plum tomatoes, drained and chopped

2 tbsp fresh basil

Instructions:

Sauté mushrooms and onion in 1 tablespoon olive oil and ½ teaspoon garlic powder (save the remaining ½ teaspoon for later) until onion begins to turn transparent (just a few minutes). Drain excess liquid; set aside. On a lightly floured surface, shape dough into a ball, then roll out to a 9-inch circle. Place dough to fit in a greased heart shaped pan (9-12-inches). If you do not have a heart shaped pan, use a 12-inch circular pizza pan or cookie sheet or cut a large heart shape from a 12-inch circle of parchment paper and place on a greased cookie sheet. Pierce dough several times with fork. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 5 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 425°. Top dough with both cheeses, the remaining ½ teaspoon garlic powder and rest of toppings. Bake at 425° for 15-20 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling. Remove from pan to wire rack and serve.

Morgan’s Wonderland: Designed with special-needs individuals in mind

I recently learned about Morgan’s Wonderland. Have you heard of it? It’s the most amazing place! Morgan’s Wonderland is the first park of its kind in the world specifically designed for individuals with special needs. January 2007 the dream was put to paper and plans were soon made to begin raising funds for this enormous undertaking. In April 2010 the park celebrated it’s grand opening in San Antonio, Texas.

The idea for this type of park came from a loving father, Gordon Hartman, who’s daughter, Morgan, had special needs. You can read all the heart-warming details of Morgan’s inspiration here. Mr. Hartman donated the first $1,000,000 to get the project underway.

Morgan’s Wonderland touches my heart and I hope it does yours as well. They have developed the entire park around people with special needs. The rides are roomy so parents or caregivers can enjoy the rides too. The rides are spaced out well to avoid getting overcrowded, which might make some individuals uncomfortable. They have thought of everything! I think the Hartman’s deserve a reward for this, I don’t know what exactly but they deserve something!
