Pedigree Ambassador Final Update

Six weeks ago as part oPedigree Ambassador Badgef the Pedigree Ambassador program, we switched our black lab mix, Lucy, over to Pedigree dog food.  Pedigree asked me to use the four universal needs (skin & coat, oral care, digestion, & immunity) to review how Lucy was handling the switch.  I honestly haven’t noticed much of a change.  Her stool was a bit runnier at my last update but that seems to over and is now back to normal.  I think that was due to the change in dog food and not the new dog food itself.  Lucy had a great coat before and that has remained…I think the secret is in the boiled egg we give her daily.  Lucy’s teeth are the same as before, not sparking but not filthy.  Our vet recommends that a dog of Lucy’s age should have her teeth cleaned once a year and we’re coming up on a cleaning.  Maybe after the cleaning we can see if it prevents build up better than our old dog food.  Her digestion and immunity were great before the switch and have remained the same.

We have decided to continue feeding Lucy the Pedigree food for the time being because it seems to work well for her and it is much cheaper than the dog food we were using previously.  After participating in this trial I would recommend Pedigree to all my friends and family.  If you’re thinking of giving Pedigree a try don’t forget to print Pedigree coupons to make this dog food even more affordable!

In celebration of Pedigree’s new dry dog food formula they will be donating more than 100,000 lbs of food to shelters across the country.  They believe that “Every Dog Deserves” leading nutrition.  Chelsea Kane, from Dancing with the Stars, will be helping kick off the “Every Dog Deserves” campaign by delivering the first 10,000 lb food donation to the Amanda Foundation in Beverly Hills on June 1.

Throughout the month of June, Pedigree will be asking dog lovers across America to help them help their furry friends by logging onto Facebook and Twitter (#everydogdeserves) and to say why they think “Every Dog Deserves” the very best.  For each Like, comment, @reply, re-tweet, photo upload, etc. directed at Pedigree, they’ll donate one pound of food (up to 100,000 pounds).  Each single enteraction you have with Pedigree on Facebook and Twitter will help feed needy dogs.  This is a great (& free!) way to give that only takes a few minutes of your time.  I hope you’ll join me in supporting the “Every Dog Deserves” program starting in June!

I wrote this review while participating in an Ambassador campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Pedigree and received dog food to facilitate my reviews and a promotional item to thank me for taking the time to participate.
