Ebates is truly the place where it pays to shop online. All you have to do is join Ebates, click through to the store you want to shop at and proceed as normal. That’s it! A percent of your purchase will automatically be added to your account and every three months they’ll send you a check for the balance in your account. Free money!
They have just about every major retailer under the sun. As you may have noticed they even have Amazon now!!
Your cash back will usually post to your Ebates account within 3 days of your purchase and they’ll shoot you a quick email to let you know when it’s been posted too. Here’s an example of what the cash back looks like in my account. This is the cash back I received from regular purchases I was going to make anyway. Almost $25 for making a few extra clicks…and these weren’t even on double cash back days!

Shop through Ebates for 6% cash back at Groupon only on Wednesday, January 25, 2012. That’s double the normal 3% cash back you can get any day! Ebates pays you cash back on a quarterly basis so your next payment will be sent on February 15, 2012.
To give you an idea of how those little savings add up I can tell you that I earned $35.26 just from my Christmas purchases alone. That doesn’t include any referral bonuses at all. I did try to watch for double cash back days {like this one!} but that’s all I did. $35 for purchases I would have bought anyway is free money!
