Little Pim: Second Language Course for Kids – Giveaway Ends 4/4

Little Pim

Linguistic experts say that teaching your children a second language can have a positive effect on their intellectual development and it actually helps improves their understanding of their native language. Not to mention the fact that it helps open the door to other cultures!

But how do you get started?  Being immersed in the language is the best way for anyone to learn a language but if that isn’t possible (because it usually isn’t) Little Pim has DVDs, CDs and books, which feature animated lessons for kids ages 0-6, in ten languages, including English, Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian and more.
These videos were created by filmmaker and mom, Julia Pimsleur Levine to fill a need in the children’s video market for a top-quality, language-learning video series.  To create the videos, she worked with a team of animators, childhood development experts, and linguists. I would love to try these out myself with my little girl sometime but right now I’m here to give you a chance to win one of their Spanish learning DVDs.

Good luck!

¡Buena suerte!

I would probably choose Spanish so my daughters (and me!) can understand my husband’s grandmother/aunts/cousins when they talk! >.< Otherwise I would LOVE to get the Japanese one for my family!

  2. I love little pim..but the dvd’s shattered in the center when I allowed my two year old to try and remove it from the case…silly mom moment…I would love to replace those dvd’s or get french ones since my sister moved to paris
