My husband and I are always questioning whether something is worth our time or not. Sometimes we would rather pay a little more to avoid the hassle of wasting our time. Time has value and it’s important to figure out what it’s worth to you. Family time is more important than saving a few dollars, am I right?
Time Saving Tips for the Holidays:
– Set your table the day before your party. This is a huge time saver and you’ll now have more time to get ready and relax yourself. Remember it’s you that ultimately sets the mood for your party.
– Make ahead meals are great for holiday parties. There is less mess involved for clean up and you won’t be stuck in the kitchen cooking during the party.
– Buy a pie instead of making one. I know some of you are gasping at this but Mrs. Smith’s pies are hard to beat (and a LOT quicker)!

Bank on the go: It’s easy to set up mobile banking and secure access to your money wherever you are. Download the mobile banking app and you can check balances, transfer money, pay bills, and locate ATMs. Sign up for text banking and you’ll be able to send a text message to get your balance instantly in a reply.
Make quick and easy deposits: Holiday means a lot of extra work, so eliminate the labor of depositing checks. With Bank of America’s Deposit Image ATMs, you simply feed checks or cash into the ATM with no envelopes or deposit slips required. You get images of your checks and a list of cash deposited on your receipt as proof. This is one of my favorite perks from Bank of America!
Save a trip to the bank: Don’t worry about making an extra stop to the bank during all of your holiday shopping. Keep track of your spending by using Bank of America’s online banking: set up alerts, check balances, and transfer money.
We do as much banking online as we can. All our of bills are paid electronically so we only buy stamps to send birthday and Christmas cards.

To save time during the holidays, we do several things. We do one, large, family get-together for each side of our family. This way, we don’t have to plan several, separate parties or meals. We’ve also started drawing names for gifts: one gift instead of one for every person! These are our two favorite ideas!

I do comparison shopping online and make sure I get the best deals so I don’t have to go from store to store
Since we’re not folks who buy the tree early, right before we put it up we give the house one really good cleaning and then forget about the chores until we take it down – except for the bathroom of course!
I combine errands to save time.
I get up about two hours earlier than the rest of my family, and get a lot of stuff done (like writing letters and doing the dishes, etc) and then when they get up, I can sit and drink my coffee and enjoy their company instead of rushing around.

I shop online – most of the presents this year were bought online, which saved lots of time and money. Throughout the year it’s making lists that saves time (for groceries, chores etc.)
I do my holiday shopping online, so I can avoid the long lines of inevitably sick people in the malls. It saves me the hassle of driving to the store, browsing through merchandise that everyone else has fondled, etc.

Start your holiday shopping NOW. Get it done piecemeal while out and about doing your other chores and there will be no need to spend hours on end shopping when everyone else is doing it.
I save time by being polite to the customer service people, by being calm with the people I’m in line with, and by having my things ready- pen, wallet, shopping bag- before I get to the checkstand.

I used to bank with bank of america and they are a rip off bank and i will never bank with them again. They steal your money and charge you for the things that they tell you when you open your account that are supposed to be free when it is not. I would not reccommend this bank to my worst enemy.
