  1. Love taking walks, especially during the fall! We have a lot of deer around here and it’s always fun to see them.

  2. I actually do a walk twice a day. It varies in length but it’s always nice to get in the fresh air.

  3. Growing up, my parents took a walk after dinner each night. It’s a habit I try to maintain. It was an easy way to get a little exercise, but I love the opportunity to get out in the fresh air since I’m stuck inside so much of the day.

  4. I love walking and whenever im stressed it definatley kicks up the endorphines and makes me feel so much better.

  5. Taking walks in the fall and winter is one of my favorite activities, there is nothing better and it really does help clear your mind.

  6. Sometimes it’s so hard to get walking shoes on and get out the door, but you’re right. I feel so much better about everything after I take a walk.

  7. I do this often – sometimes for inspiration and some times to decompress. A few years ago I discovered a century plant a few blocks over. I checked on it every day for months – but the homeowners had it removed one day before it bloomed. I was crushed. I still think about sending them a letter over it! hahahaha

  8. I totally agree! The weather was absolutely gorgeous today and I took my toddler for a walk in the woods. Great advice. 🙂

  9. Funny, I actually took my 9-year-old for a walk around the neighborhood yesterday just to get some fresh air since it was so gorgeous out. Love this time of year as the leaves are changing colors.

  10. I have a friend I call up and escape for a walk with. We both always feel so much better after our walk/rant fest.

  11. I just enjoyed a nice, peaceful, moonlit walk with my husband a bit ago. It’s always refreshing to have those few minutes alone with him (and burn some calories too).

  12. I love going for walks, For me, they’re the perfect way to clear my mind.

  13. I love taking walks. Something about the fresh air clears my mind and gives me a chance to breathe! It’s a great way to burn off energy and just take some time away from the stress.

  14. You are absolutely right! There is just something about fresh (especially fall!) air that changes my attitude!

  15. I always mean to take walks – and think about it pretty much every evening after it’s gotten too dark/late/cold to do it. I just need to remember at like… 4pm. I love walks 🙂

  16. I need to take walks around the neighborhood more!

  17. I literally just walked in from a mile walk with the dog. it was as gorgeous day and it was so relaxing

  18. I need to take more walks. Especially now the weather is great.

  19. We love family walks. Especially on really crabby evenings. Helps get them ready to settle their bodies and keeps me from going insane!

  20. We have gorgeous bike trails here and I always feel better after a nice long walk on it!

  21. I think this is why I miss the midwest there were always so many different things to see on a walk. Living in the desert I just don’t feel motivated and it is always too hot. But maybe I’ll take a drive to the park and we can enjoy the trees there. Thanks for the idea.

  22. Such good advice! I love taking a break from my computer and walking up into the hills of my neighborhood, especially on a gorgeous fall day… I come back invigorated and so much more productive 🙂

  23. There’s something about being outside that is restorative and rejuvenating. I love your idea!
