Sometimes as women, moms, and bloggers we spend too much time agonizing over what we haven’t accomplished that we forget to pat ourselves on the back for those goals we have accomplished.
This post isn’t to share a lot of advice except for one tiny bit of encouragement and that is to enjoy what you have and appreciate the little {and big} things.
One of my biggest blogging accomplishment to date was being on the local news. I know a lot of other bloggers have been on national TV and while I aspire to do that one day, being able to do this local news segment was wonderful. It was pretty amazing that they wanted me to share my coupon knowledge and to do it 9 months pregnant!
Another blogging accomplishment was having a phone call with Mrs. Cindy McCain about the ONE campaign. It was an unreal experience to talk with her and to hear her first-hand report of what’s happening on the ground in Africa. This was a great reminder to use my platform for social good. Mrs. McCain is an encouraging, strong, and delightful woman. That is an accomplishment I will long remember and enjoy.
For me, my biggest blogging accomplishment was when I overheard my husband telling someone that I was a blogger! I knew then that he no longer thought of my blog as just a hobby and he was actually proud to tell people about it. That, by far, has also been my biggest blogging accomplishment and reward!
