Would you like to see your Walmart double coupons? I thought so! Several dozen readers are reporting that their local stores have decided to double so I checked with Paul from I Heart the Mart to get the scoop! It seems that Paul has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to get this in place {thank you Paul!} but he needs our help. He has started a petition to let Walmart know just how many people truly want this new policy in place.
If you want to be able to have a double coupon policy at your Walmart sign the Walmart Double Coupon Policy Petition. After you submit your petition there is the option to donate $2 to ipetitions but it is completely your choice; you can still sign the petition at no cost. Don’t forget to share this with your Facebook friends, Twitter followers, Google + contacts, and everyone else you know!
Here’s what I know about the pilot program so far:
1. They are doubling all MFG coupons up to $.99.
2. They are price matching and using double coupons in WV but customers must pick one or the other in Utah.
3. You must present each coupon with the item you are buying because they have to adjust each item’s price before scanning the coupon.
4. Limits are as stated on the coupon, if no limit is stated then no limit!
I am working on trying to get a list of participating locations and the differences between store policies.
Here is the list I have so far but this info is via readers so call ahead of time to double check if your location is participating.
Tucson, Arizona (Only doubles if the coupon states “subject to doubling”)
Mansfield Rd, Louisiana (Price matching OR doubling)
Madison, Ohio (May have stopped doubling, ask before shopping)
Hilton Head, South Carolina
Utah County, Utah (Price matching OR doubling)
Charleston, West Virginia
Huntington, West Virginia
Hurricane, West Virginia (Will accept Target coupons at face value only)
Ripley, West Virginia
Vienna, West Virginia
Wayne, West Virginia

My mother lives in WV and told me last weekend that she was told they were doubling coupons. I live in Hilton Head SC I was at my Walmart today and asked if they were doubling and i was told they were. I’m so excited !

Hurricane, WV is also double couponing. They donot double target coupons, they are their face value.

I was told yesterday by the cashier at Barboursville WV Wal-Mart they are ending the double coupons sometime in October anyone know if this person is wrong?
Charleston and Logan Wal Mart stores stopped on October 31st. From what I could gather, it was due to holiday shopping because of how much slower the process was to check out. Supposedly, they are going to start back up after the returns season has ended. Let’s cross our fingers and pray.
While it was at ours, they would double mfg coupons, store coupons were accepted at face value, and they did allow stacking and overages for a short time but that was stopped as well.
If the coupon was for $1 and the item was .98 you would get the .02 but if it was a double, they would only double up to the product amount. They did the ad match, but you could not double with an ad match. It had to be either/or. BUT if you used a .75 coupon on an item, like the Go-Gurt, you still got it cheaper at the Wal Mart Price than the comp for Kroger with the .75 off, so it didn’t phase me a bit.

Went to walmart today stacked a target huggies cp, with a maufacuter huggies cp, and a cvs huggies cp, and was denied, I thought you could stack cp’s at walmart if not all the same, they were all different and said manufacturer cp on them, thought I had a great deal, still believe I was cheated from a good opportunity of savings, does any one know if this type of stacking is in the new pilot program,?
Did they all say manufacturer on them? If so then they are all the same.
You can’t stack TWO competitor’s coupons with a manufacturer coupon, jeez. & You certainly can’t use three manufacturer’s coupons. Read the coupon policy, one manufacturer stacked with one store coupon OR one competitor coupon. There isn’t a single grocery store that I know of that will let you use three coupons on one item.
Well, I am in Tucson, AZ and one of our walmarts is in the pilot but, they are only doubling coupons if they state on the coupon, ” subject to doubling”. I was there tonight and thought my MFG would double, nope. They showed me the policy that states it. Becareful before you go.

Our Walmart in Madison, Ohio had been doubling for a while and said that corporate just ending all doubling — so I left an entire cart of groceries there today – wish they had put up a sign or some kind of notice at the door – plus they stopped accepting target coupons 🙁

I shopped at Madison, Ohio Wal-Mart yesterday…..was at check out with full cart of groceries…presented my coupons to cashier thinking they were going to be doubled….she said “you know we don’t double coupons anymore”…..this was quite disappointing as I must have spend an hour selecting my double couponi tems…..I also had to leave my cart of groceries……there were no signs notifying customers of their new policy…..very disappointed
I shop at the Phenix City AL and Columbus Ga Walmarts, I’d love to see this policy!!
Findlay Ohio is NOT offering double couponing… they have received many calls asking this saying its on a website somewhere… they are not.

Parkersburg, WV is doubling, price matching and letting you stack other stores coupons with manufacturer’s coupons…I live in central OH but my mom is in Parkersburg so when I go to visit I make a trip to walmart 🙂 Sooo many people are doing this it is hard to get the items you want cause the shelves get cleard out fast!

Walmart at Fayetteville, WV does NOT double coupons, but they will price match national brand ads from local chain stores and they do accept coupons at face value.
