– TurboTax Online Federal Edition lets you file federal taxes online Free.

– Save $15-25 on TurboTax’s Online Tax  Software Packages

– Go to IRS.gov to file your federal taxes for free.

– Regularly check daily deal sites,  like Groupon for good deals.

– AARP Foundation Tax-Aide offers free help for older taxpayers and people with limited incomes.

– Tax help for those in the Military

1. Get a free customized version of basic H&R Block at Home electronic tax filing product. This customized product allows for free federal filing and free state filing for up to three states.
2. Free telephonic tax consultations are available to help with tax- related issues.  Check out Military One Source for more information.
3. Active Duty Military can file for free with TaxSlayer.com.
