I have a special journal that I use to write to each of mine, something that I plan to give to them when they’re grown up, but it’s to easy to put off because I rarely have time to write much. New follower, followed over from Domestically Divine link-up. So touching! My 15 month old daughter absolutley loves her Daddy as well. She will randomly through out the day yell “Dadda” or “Daddy”. Even if we are out somewhere she does it. Yesterday we were at the dollar store and she kept loudly saying “Dadda” and looking around…she was hoping he would be there. When he gets home from work she gets so excited, squels and runs over to him to be picked up. Daddy’s and their little girls 🙂

I like the idea of sending emails to them as babies/toddlers. A friend’s husband who also has a 15 month old does this.

I grew up in a house where we were scared when Dad came home. We’d hide, leave the house…. Then when my husband and I had kids they would race to greet him with hugs and kisses… Seeing that was healing for me.
