A friend of our family loves to compare our utility bills. It’s interesting because we actually use MORE electricity than him but our bill is always lower. The reason — we use time advantage (certain hours are cheaper) and only ever do dishes, laundry, and those big types of jobs on the “off” hours. 🙂

We always use those window sealing kits and make sure all of our seals around our doors are working well. I also leave the oven open after cooking – might as well put that leftover heat to good use!

I never thought of doing dryer loads back to back so it doesn’t have to reheat..smart!
